HOW

We adapt the lessons to the age, the level of education, the level of the Dutch or German language and background.

At first, we aim the verbal command of the language and increase the vocabulary.
Beside this we teach, of course, the grammar and spelling of words and                                                                        sentences.

We also talk about the culture and manners.
We show you illustrations (see for examples the Pictures tab) and inform you about some history and habits so you can form a picture of the Dutch and German culture.

The lessons are clear and useful for your goal. You will only learn what is important for you!
You don't have to learn all spelling rules if it is not essential for you.
But if you need this, we provide you with reliable and solid information and exercises.

Every lessons contains exercises.
These have to be made, we make the necessary corrections and review the made exercises at the next meeting.

This all sounds very theoretical. This is important, but also very important is the routine.
We will speak a lot of Dutch or German and complete the theory with useful practical example lessons.

For au-pairs there is a special training program.
Beside the language you will also learn a lot practical subjects such as shopping, stores, the weather, what to eat,
family relations, health etc.

End the end of a successful course you will receive a CEFR* certificate.  This is a document which describes in a comprehensive manner the competences necessary for communication, the related knowledge and skills and the situations and domains of communication.
You can download the file about the CEFR* levels below.

However the most important: ENJOY learning your new foreign language !!
